Flower Embroidery
This modern floral embroidery is stitched using thick, full-thread embroidery floss. The flowers should stand out in relief. To achieve this, various embroidery stitches are used, such as satin stitches, knot stitches, stem stitches, straight stitches and weave stitches for the roses.
The flowers are usually presented in an embroidery hoop.
These motifs are drawn onto the fabric with a pencil or water-soluble pen, traced or ironed on, and then embroidered.
