This book is about embroidery stitch combinations that are used in crewel embroidery but are also very good for free motion embroidery. These are weaving patterns, couching patterns and a few others. There are also various leaf shapes and their design.

The armchair itself came with the light-colored cushions, I embroidered directly onto the cushions and started each wool embroidery thread with a knot and pulled it into the filling from the outside.
